Cleanaway Derwent Park Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is the sole facility for recycling in Southern Tasmania. We receive recycling from council kerbside collections that are sorted into clean material streams and sent out of the state for recycling and reuse.

Recycling materials sorted at Derwent Park includes cardboard, paper, aluminium, tin plate, HDPE and PET plastics.

Cleanaway Derwent Park commenced operations in November 2019 after all plant and equipment were significantly upgraded to ensure a safe and productive environment for our team to work within. The site was formerly run by both Veolia and SKM.
