Cleanaway Artarmon Resource Recovery Centre

Cleanaway Artarmon is a drop off and disposal site that accepts a range of solid waste from council customers. We offer FREE drop-off for select pre-sorted materials. *Closed to all Cardboard/Paper customers until further notice.

From March 2, 2026, the Artarmon site will no longer accept the following problem waste items:

• Paint
• Gas bottles
• Household car batteries
• Motor oils and other oils (including sump oil)
• E‑waste

Customers can dispose of these items free of charge in household quantities at the North Sydney Community Recycling Centre (CRC). A Word document containing full CRC details and an information poster has been prepared to support this transition.
