Cleanaway Kemps Creek Resource Recovery Park is a ARRT advanced resource recovery technology facility. It also houses the Elizabeth Drive landfill and features an education centre with regular community tours.

Specifically, the Keep Clear Zone outside the Resource Recovery Park is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and preventing accidents.

Cleanaway is requesting approval to increase the existing annual tonnage limit by 100,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). The proposal aims to extend the capacity of the Elizabeth Drive landfill at Kemps Creek by expanding the landfill area within the current site boundaries, without any extension of the landfill footprint. The extension provides necessary additional capacity and strengthens critical waste infrastructure to support a growing Sydney population. Learn more about the project here.
