Supportive pathways to new careers

Driver Academy
The Cleanaway Driver Academy is designed to provide training, support, and employment opportunities for people looking for a rewarding career as a heavy vehicle driver. As part of closing the gender gap in the waste management industry, our Driver Academy for women is committed to creating equitable opportunities by addressing barriers that may prevent women and non-binary individuals from entering the industry. Our goal is to foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where everyone can thrive. Cleanaway also delivers Driver Academy programs tailored to support First Nations peoples, individuals living in regional and rural communities, and anyone seeking a new career direction. These programs include mixed groups and are designed to welcome people from all backgrounds.
