Overview
Cleanaway Artarmon is a drop off and disposal site that accepts a range of solid waste from council customers. We offer FREE drop-off for select pre-sorted materials, including paper and cardboard.
From March 2, 2026, the Artarmon site will no longer accept the following problem waste items:
- Paint
- Gas bottles
- Household car batteries
- Motor oils and other oils (including sump oil)
- E‑waste
Customers can dispose of these items free of charge in household quantities at the North Sydney Community Recycling Centre (CRC). A Word document containing full CRC details and a QR code for customer use has been prepared to support this transition.
