As part of this year’s celebration, Cleanaway and Clean Up Australia are sharing the 10 Day Clean Up with Cleanaway Challenge.
The challenge brings together ten simple, practical actions designed to reinforce better waste habits and connect individual behaviour to broader system outcomes.

Understand the waste and recycling bins you have access to.
Find an item you’re unsure about how to dispose of and check where it belongs.
Rinse one recyclable item so it is empty, clean, and dry.
Identify and remove one contaminating item from your recycling bin.
Pay attention to food waste and where it is disposed.
Learn one recycling rule specific to your local area.
Change one waste habit and repeat it consistently.
Share one waste or recycling insight with someone else.
