How we collect and dispose of secure clinical waste
Sensitive clinical waste is deposited into secure, tamper-proof containers that we supply. These are placed in designated, access-controlled areas within your facility to limit handling and exposure.
Secure clinical waste is transported in EPA-compliant vehicles, separated from other waste streams and monitored through digital manifests for full visibility.
All waste is destroyed via shredding or high-temperature incineration or other approved methods at EPA-licensed treatment centres. This ensures full, irreversible destruction as required by law.
You receive proof-of-destruction documentation, including container-level tracking and digital waste reports supporting your internal compliance and external audit requirements.

High-temperature incineration

Secure shredding
- Suitable for waste that requires secure destruction without incineration, including confidential health records, plastics and expired medical stock
- Shredding breaks down waste into small, unrecognisable particles for either further treatment or disposal
- Some materials can be recovered for reuse once they have been securely shredded. For example, the paper from confidential documents can be recycling into new paper and cardboard products
