Overview
Cleanaway Artarmon is a drop off and disposal site that accepts a range of solid waste from council customers. We offer FREE drop-off for select pre-sorted materials, including paper and cardboard, sump oil up to 20 litres and vehicle batteries.
Evening schedule:
Monday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Tuesday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Wednesday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Thursday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Friday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Sunday 8:00 pm - 12:00 am
Please be advised that Artarmon Transfer Station will be undertaking critical concrete floor resurfacing works inside the shed. During this period, traffic management changes will be in place and some delays to site operations should be expected.
Works Period:
23 December – 31 December
Impact:
These works will affect all customers accessing the site during this time.
Phase One – 24 December to 28 December:
- No dry waste will be accepted, including metal and timber
- Please utilise alternative facilities at Rockdale, Auburn, and/or Belrose
Phase Two – 29 December to 31 December:
- Site will re-open for dry and wet waste
- No metal or timber will be accepted during this phase
Alternative Options:
Where possible, customers are encouraged to utilise nearby Cleanaway transfer stations Rockdale, Auburn, and/or Belrose during the works period.
