Cleanaway is delighted to announce a two year partnership with AFL Barwon, supporting football and netball across the Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast regions in Victoria.
Already working closely with councils and businesses from the region, Cleanaway are proud to continue supporting local communities through the sponsorship of the three major leagues.
Tim Yates, Cleanaway’s Account Manager covering the region, said, “It’s exciting to formalise this partnership with AFL Barwon and be able to support the League’s huge contribution to local communities.”
Tim said “We’re already providing waste management products and services to several councils and countless businesses across the region, so it makes sense to give back through the footy and netball leagues that are such an important part of those communities.”
“I know that many of our staff and their families have been involved in AFL Barwon as players or supporters, and we’re especially excited to become the naming rights sponsor of a division of Under 16 Football, the ‘Cleanaway Cup’. It’s a perfect fit for our business, and we can’t wait to contribute to the success of that competition” Tim added.
AFL Barwon, Region General Manager, Lee Hartman said, “AFL Barwon are proud to be in partnership with Cleanaway. All our Community Football & Netball clubs look forward to working with Cleanaway for their disposal needs and appreciate the support in the community by Cleanaway.”
