Congratulations to Alycia Moore, Industrial Chemist at Yatala, QLD, who was awarded the Young Water Professional of the Year in the Queensland Water Awards. Awarded by the Australian Water Association (AWA), the award recognises young water professionals (35 or younger) with outstanding career achievements to date, and who have the potential to play a significant leadership role on the water industry in the future. Alycia now goes on to represent Queensland in the national awards in 2017.

Congratulations to our South Australian Post Collections team, who took out the top honours at the Waste Management Association of Australia awards in Canberra, winning the landfill excellence award. Cleanaway’s Industrial Services team in Whyalla are to be congratulated, following their recognition by the board of Arrium Mining and Onesteel as leaders in safety and operational service delivery at their Whyalla Operation. The team received 14 awards in total, with Area Manager Chris Coathupe awarded the Safety Leader of the Year. Congratulations team!
